Talked to someone in my LS who took down Capricious Cassie as ninja. She said she didn't notice much, if any difference. Still updating myself here...

I'm having trouble holding hate, but the war is outdmging me and voking about 1/2 as much as i am, then again, i'm level 12, we'll see

It's impossible to hold hate at that level. Just have to switch tank with someone else at those levels.

yep, i was using 5-8 shiheis a fight and still not holding hate, i gave up and let the war tank, its easier ><; but i t doesnt seem to loose THAT much hate when i absorb a hit honestly

I think the main concern was for really long fights like the wyrms. Probably be a few days before we hear about any first hand experiences on those.

I've been in game a day now and I still haven't done anything on my NIN. However, my friend was leveling his level 50 NIN and said he had no problems holding hate. He was voking once and using Kurayami > Raiton > Hojo. He also has enmity merits from another job, but I just don't know how much a couple enmity would help.

didn't notice any difference really. We had a nin tank today at level 43, i can shoot the 2 spells without getting any hate from nin.

Took down Voluptuous Vivian twice and our NIN was definitely having some problems. (I was on WHM). Our SAM/NIN was peeling hate from regular melee attacks, it was pretty rough. So far the change is very obvious on HNMs.

I'll be tanking some gods tomorrow night and I'll be sure to post if anything crazy happened.

holding hate isnt the issue with the ninja nerf. things like goblin rush now takes off 3 shadows instead of 1. hell there can be more nerfs for the ninja. but this is by far worse then hate holding. ni goes down fast against a gob no matter what. ichi is then hti with a goblin rush. we are now left with no shadows, an alot of time left on the recast timers.

this sucks considering the popularity of gob camps on my server.

I'm getting a lot of mixed results within my LS. Some say NIN was barely affected at all, others say that NIN has seriously taken a hit.

yeah its mixed on my ls as well. but come to think of it, the players who feel its harder now. were the ones who wouldnt cast debuffs more then once, or use the ele wheel.

the biggest question now is the route of the nin. more eva, eminity, more str/atk ? i know i switched food sources to the eminity food. an i have a nice balance between eva, eminty, an acc. the set up seems to be working nicely to the point i dont notice anything.

O-hat as both acc an eva. the S.H has both acc an eva, 1 ear has 5 eva while the other has +3 eminity, 1 ring has +2 eminity, while the other ring has +5 acc. depending on the mobs for the waist i either have W belt. + 3 eminity. or life belt + 10 acc. food is sole ( + 4 str ) squid ( +4 agi ) or dorado sushi ( +3 eminity ),

so what i noticed is that Ninja 40-60 are screwed but the 65+ ninja with all the enmity+ gear can still do the job.

for my mule which is 56nin i bought 2x +3 enmity errings and a o-kote cuz i wasnt able to hold hate at all. With the gear its possible but still hard, going trough the wheel 5x a battle isnt fun and costs alot.

at level 75 with my main i dont notice any difference.
the only way i loose hate often is a uber equiped mnk and some mass dmg Scs,
with THF its cake

Was in a Crawlers Nest exp pt last night pt level range was 35-37, didn't seem to be a big deal at all; however we had a thf doing SATA onto me, not sure how pts w/o thfs are/will be. BTW entire pt setup was: NIN/WAR (me), THF/NIN, MNK/WAR, DRK/THF (/sigh), WHM/BLM, and BLM/WHM.

Tanked Seiryu and Suzaku today just fine. Couldn't really feel much difference at all. On gods I use all evasion equipment, with enmity coming after that.

Here was my setup:
Earth staff
Optical hat
Evasion torque
2x bat earrings
Jelly ring
1x AGI+4 ring
Seiryus kote
AF body (i know >.<)
Byakkos haidate
Dance shoes
Bat cape
Survival belt

Ate dorado sushi for enmity. I also have +3 upgrades to enmity merits. Other than that, didnt have any enmity gear. I dunno. Just didnt feel any difference at all. Any other experiences?
