with any luck, they'll also increase crafting yields or in some other shape or form, lower the cost of tools. Coupled with the utsu gimping (something that should've been changed as soon as nin tanking was realised... this from a die hard nin fan) and the increased carrying capacity, it would actually fill out the ninja job. Think about how pissed you'd be if your BLM equipped his Ice Staff and then cast Stone. Relying solely on a level 12 spell is kinda lame. If the cost of other tools can be controlled, we'll have a ninja that can do more for the same amount of money he's putting into it now. And honestly, when I level ninja, I don't use many tools simply cuz I don't want to waste inventory since I'm already holding some 400 shihei. How does this update ruin Nin tanking? I don't think it does one bit.

This carries over to rng too. If they can minimize the cost of leveling it, they can take away the RNG excuse of spending so much money and then they can start making RNGs COOL again. As of now, the greatest skill the job requires is the ability to make gil.

Let's cross our fingers and hope S-E is smart enough to know how to offset their gimps.
