ZM8 tips...

tanking zm8...i'm having issues, and i'm starting to get pissed at nin...on my 4th attempt, i lasted for 18seconds...
Provoke > slowga > him hitting me > him hitting me > utsu ni > gravijata > lightblade for 1034dmg, i had 12 secs on provoke left...

any tips with the tanking on this? i'm 69nin with good equips

Well, all the help I can really give is maybe, next time try to have a Bard. For the light carol. Carol will help a lot for the light blade, even more so if the Bard uses his 2hr.
I don't really know what else you could be doing wrong. Maybe read up on more strats. I have done ZM8 with 63pld 62smn 75rdm 70brd 60whm 62war.

Get a mage that you trust and tell them to have their fingers over Erase. If you bring either BLM or DRK also, tell them to stun when they see you get hit.

Same things you do in EXP really. Make sure he is fully debuffed with para, slow, blahblah, and that you are Erased immediately when you receive a status ailment.

hmm, a bunch of people tell me nin is the way to go for tanking it, but i dont see how...owell, i'll have to suck it up and let the rng tank when i feel unsafe lol
