Exactly what does Chr affect on ninja, as I have heard Chr has nothing to do with provoke, so is it weaponskill only for ninja?

CHR effects the natual deduction of "hate" over time. From what I understand, the more CHR, the longer the hate "stays" from spikes such as Provoke and spells.

I think dmg dealt, and dmg taken work opposite each other, on a different scale.. but i'm not one to know that.

In my experience, CHR affects how much hate is lost by getting hit. Which is why it's good for PLD, since you get the crap whacked out of you, having more CHR means you don't lose all that hate you gained.

Don't know about it holding hate longer. I've tried it with Provoke as WAR/NIN before, with +13 CHR hate didn't last any longer for me. However with +6 INT hate seemed to stick for Provoke.

this does make some sense. i dont have exp. with pld or even playing with plds much either but from what the stats are on koenig gears, it seems like there is some truth in this. dont the get like +50 chr from all the koenig gears? along with the insane +vit, might be why its so awesome?
