Figured I'd give an update to this thread since I've been 75 for a little while now. My tanking gear setup primarily focuses on Enmity > Haste > Evasion Skill. I've also ditched double Mambos from BRD, and in exchange I request double Marches. Using this setup I am able to get Ni recast down to 22 seconds, so although I evade close to nothing now, I've always got blink ready to cast. Here's my sky/hnm setup.

Weaps: anything from sword and mamushito+1 (stun effect), to sometimes wearing earth staff or wind staff. never do i wear 2 katanas though.

Ranged: Fenrir's Stone. this is a great piece for ninjas. 10 evasion at night, and 30 HP during the day. you win either way

Head: Optical Hat or panzer mask for haste

Neck: evasion torque, or harmonia's torque (+3 enmity)

Earrings: Melody Earrings+1, eris earrings for enmity

Body: yasha samue, +4 enmity

Hands: Praefectus gloves (bastok rank 8 CP, +5 parry skill and +5 eva skill outside nation control), or Arhat's+1 for enmity, or dusk gloves for haste

Rings: Breeze

Back: Bat Cape or Corse Cape are fine

Waist: Warwolf Belt, +3 enmity, speed belt for haste if youre lucky and can borrow a friends or something

Legs: Byakko's Haidate

Feet: Fuma Sune-Ate or in rare cases Arhat's+1

Food: Dorado Sushi, +3 enmity


I also managed to cap merits for evasion and enmity, and boy I can notice a huge difference in both categories.
