has anyone obtained a full set of the new Lv. 71 nin only gear? or any piece for that matter? if so, what are your thoughts on it when tanking xp mob? or even as a nin/blm? i've only seen one samue on sale (3.2mil) and a few suma-ate. how is it on your server?

obviously this was designed to help us when casting utsusemi ichi as well as make more use of our ninjutsu with all the +int it gives. enmity for added hate control, minor hp boost and parrying skill for added usefulness.

with a full set/+1 set, the stats are

+15int/+19 int
-24%/-30% spell interruption
+12/+17 enmity
+10/+12 parrying skill
+35/+42 HP

there is also a Lv. 30 katana, Nikkariaoe, that gives -25% spell interruption. macroing this in when casting ichi will give nearly -50% spell interruption with only the nq version.

anyone have any ideas, opinions on this new jse? im dying to get my hands on it myself.

This armor is stupidly overpriced on my server 3-4mil a piece.
A good stunner/flasher really makes getting this gear just for the cast interruption down somewhat debateable.
Ninjas can get an ichi cast off while getting hit by gods without too much trouble, i'd rather have +1 arhat body and jinpachi and earth staff for the damage reduction.

If I played NIN/BLM yeah i'd give a full Yasha set a try.

I can see the set being nice for xp, with that much +enmity a dd will have trouble turning the mob for SATA though (esp if you also use 2x eris earrings, warwolf belt and have a mermaid ring macro'd in for voke/warcry). The 30% spell inturrupt down will let you be lazy going from ni to ichi.

For tanking gods and the like it is already very easy to do with +evasion/haste setup and 2x mambo and march. 30% spell inturrupt is somewhat useless as you should always be overwriting 1 to 2 shadows anyways depending on which god it is, and with a decent stun team -ga's shouldn't be an issue.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys think this is SE's way of saying to use the Elemental Wheel more often at higher levels with the big boost in INT?

INT certainly increases damage on the elemental-wheel ninjitsu.

its pretty rough to carry around _another_ set of gear for +INT and all the elemental powders though.

Ninjas should get a merit-point upgrade category for gobbiebag slots ^_^

Anyone try using this full set in Ballista? I bet Jubaku, Hojo, and Kurayami would be sexy good with that much INT.
