Eva overkill? Help T-T

ok, so i broke down and farmed 3 weeks for scorp harness, and other stupidly expensive eva items.
+10emp pin
+10eva harness(stupidly expensive)
+7evasion torque(stupidly expensive)
+3drone earring(too poor to upgrade to elusive)
+5elusive earring(stupidly expensive)
+3 arhats gloves
+5survival belt
+4 arhats boots
(+10nin af2)
+5 navarin(food)
-----------------------------
+52eva daytime
+62eva nighttime

with that being said, i cant dodge crap...i have like +8or9agi after food...is thier a special amount of agi i need to access all of the eva, or am i just gimped? (|I dont understand.|)

If you're fighting ITs very far over your level, you can have as much evasion as you like, it won't matter. I don't evade significantly more against those with 40 evasion as I did only 20 in attack setup.

Where the evade helps is with just normal IT, and for lower stuff, it makes a big difference. The other night I was tanking Efts in Bibiki Bay, most were VT, some low IT, and after Kurayami they were missing 40-60% of the time.

Certain mobs have higher accuracy, too, I think.

aye. what ozy said. if its a challanging xp mob for your level, very little evading going on. but if the mob is prime for ur lvl, after u land kurayami, youll be golden.

cant land kuriami, its always resisted, same with hojo and jubaku...even with my AF helm+5ninjitsu...blah

Maybe it's time to buy a Ninjitsu Torque to go with those casts. I don't know how much it would help though. If you're consistantly getting resisted and rarely ever evade, then the mobs are probably high for your level as others have said. Is your ninjitsu skilled up?

Having both the torque and the AF head macro'ed in on debuffs makes all the difference in the world. Even so, if you have parties where you have a bard and/or the firepower to go with mobs way over your level, just resign yourself to the fact that you are going to get hit :p

yea ninjitsu is capped...maybe i'll invest in ninjitsu torque and give er a test drive.

also there is a +3 Ninjitsu earring, it's like level 30 something. 1 on Sylph couldn't buy it for 300k. but look into it.

i think youre fighting mobs that are way over your lvl. i know the big xp gains are great but if you find a more prime mob, youll probably end up getting more xp overall.

ive never had all that much trouble landing my debuffs on mobs. usually kurayami or hojo lands when im facing a new mob once i get a lvl on them, both are landing pretty frequently. i havent ever used my ninja katsuburi in a xp before either.

yea, i havent either, but i saw some dude wearing one one time, then switching and gave it a shot. my problem is with the pts i get into. thiers normally 2 nins seeking my lvl, so i take what i can get. i've been 62 with a 65-66pt in bibiki bay before...that was hell...
