Evasion Cap? Huh?

Ok ive been getting mixed rumors about all this and im confused. Was told evasion caps at like 300 at 75. Im currently 72, almost 73 with evasion capped at 261. I have evasion bonus around 73... Is it pointless for me to have this as its going to waste? or... whats the deal?

This is my current setup:

Mashumuto+1
Hotogisu
Emp Pin [Optical hat help me out]
Scorpion harness
evasion torque
2x elusive earrings
rasetsu tekko
dex+4 ring
agi +4 ring
nin af pants/arhats
survival belt
bat cape
rasetsu boots

I think it's more of a soft cap. If you're finding raw evasion + or evasion skill + isn't doing much, try balancing out a little more agility. This may be tough to do as i see you have the AGI slots filled but if you're fortunate enough to get say... an Osode or somthing you may notice a difference.

Some hint at soft caps in that, in order to get above the cap, you need more of the base/root/raw stat. Like Attack for example. You'll notice you get to a point where more attack doesn't really seem to do much, but those who believe in the soft cap would say that you need more STR in order to make use of more Attack. In this case you would need more AGI to make use of more EVA. I hope an inth of that made remote sense XD so tired.

changed survival belt for a warwolf belt, and my boots for a set of fuma-sune ate's. Seems to be a little better, especially with the haste.

got 2 stun +1's now too

My suspicion is that Goldeneyes and M4N-N4N are the same person, it's best to just put a report on him and be on your way to posts that have more meaning then the trolls.
