Dd Nin?

I'm working on WAR now, and getting tired of tanking already.
Im all about raw power. (I figured that out when I did my MNK sub, and realised that i liked hitting hard, and fast) Im willing to give up my WAR position, after 30 of course (its the closest job i use too it) but i'm still very very into nin. (Dual wield, ninjutsu, and just the overall splendor of it all ^.^) So basically I have 2 questions here.


1.) What DD sub (or main) would be good to use with NIN?

2.) What kind of equipment should I be looking into getting from levels 1-30?

And any other input and suggestions for a soon-to-be ninja like myself ^.^

If I do go NIN/RNG or other combo for DD, what kind of equipment should i look into getting?

Yes, ive read through that forum, but thats all equipment for blink tanking isnt it? Id figure if im going DD id have to balance it ^.^

Is WAR the first job you lvl up in the game?
Then i must warn you that NIN/RNG is expensive...even more expensive than NIN/WAR. The only reason i did NIN/RNG was cause a PLD friend of mine wanted to party with me...so to not waste my spot in the party i went in as NIN/RNG.

If you really like being a DD why not try RNG/NIN? More often accepted than NIN/RNG (cause ppl will want you to tank) and with way better damage potential. Then again maybe you like the look of NIN if so try tanking with NIN a couple of lvls, each tank (WAR,NIN and PLD) are played if diferent ways and maybe you'll enjoy NIN tanking more than WAR tanking. I know NIN that hate lvling their WAR subs :p

Well until level 15-20 thats what im going to do, NIN/WAR then im going to do the same with RNG, then im going to go NIN/RNG gil isnt an issue at all really, Im pretty "crafty" ^.^
