I'm going to swap to Flame Rings instead of Breeze, rather have the +10 str +4 int then the +10 agi +4 vit I have atm.

I have two sets of rings. I use two snipers for EXP PTs, and then for HNMs like KB or Kirin I use Mermaid Ring + Bomb Queen Ring. I used to own two Flame Rings (wore them in cominbation w/ osode, amemet+1, meat kabobs) and didn't really notice a great difference in my max damage on Aura Stautes or Weapons. However, I did notice my accuracy drop sharply, so I switched back to accuracy rings. If you use +STR rings in an EXP PT, make sure you have a bard with madrigal, or you'll be missing too much.

with byrnie and snipers i'm around 70-75% accurate so i'm thinking that if i swapped to harness and breeze rings i'm not really going to lose out accuracy wise?

on the STR ring side i've found the best boost to my damage was from increasing my crit rate with merit points and using fudos, i'm not certain for the benefits +10STR versus snipers or breeze.

the annoying part is that in order to test each build it involves alot of AH shuffling

I get more +dmg from +10str on Osode then I get from +16 attack on Koga Chainmail so I like +str so going to boost it as much as possible.

Only really farm stuff solo or doing Kirin, Dynamis or Tiamat. Nin/War useless for rest of HNM since PLDs do the job 10x better.

Please please please let's hope SE never makes ninja tools quiverable. This would ruin my day. Case in point, 11am PST, Aspi pops, my ls misses claim to a hardcore JP ls that uses bots. The only one of them there was a nin. He sat there with aspi for 5 hours without doing damage to it before his LS woke up and helped him kill it. Our only hope was that he would run out of shihei, and he didn't ><. Nins are uber enough, no reason to make them more uber.

It is against no game rules to hold an HNM, at least according to the GM I spoke to about a week ago.

How was he able to pull it without links? A solo NIN would die from Aqua Breath unless he had mega HP regen food (5 hours of it would be more than 55 inventory spaces...) Even then, I don't know of any spot that you can stand in Valley of Sorrows and not get aggro from a Raptor or Peryton.

I know it's against no ingame rules, it's just annoying. I guess he just got lucky with no links, pulled it to a safe spot immediately. I just dont want to imagine a nin holding it for more than that, because i'm sure he was about out of shihei when another nin and a blm finally got there to help him. Square needs to make HNMs able to randomly set off a dispel to f--- over people that want to do that ><. HNMs aren't suppose to be soloable ><.





I'm trying to ignore viola because he's proven himself to be a moron in other posts, but i'll comment. You get the title Hardcore HNM LS everyone in your LS has a nobles tunic, even the warriors, they are so greedy that shining cloth has never appeared on the AH on carbuncle. They had a monopoly on HNM until the 2 big NA HNMLS finally got close, but it's still hard because they vokebot + have nice JP pings over us. Whether they are dicks or not is another question, but you don't really label good guys as hardcore very often do you?

Totally agree with the LS to keep all the cloth inside the LS instead of selling them on AH. Why give other LS the option to get better highend items without killing the HNM them self. Would rather drop the cloth then give to another LS.

I'm pretty broke so I can only afford +4 rings. What I need to decide on is either Agil or Dex? I've been using dex all this time, but someone advised me to go agil. What do you all think?
