new katana?

has anyone seen this new katana in game? i *just* got my model view working and see this tonberry knife kinda thing in with the katanas

That's the Kard. It's not a katana, it's actually a dagger that's good for bards.

You can beat the NM that drops it with a good party in Onzozo in the early 60s.

There actually is a new (from the CoP update?) katana. Level 30, 19 DMG, and 25% reduced chance of having spells interrupted. Sells for about ~300K on Phoenix.

Actually thats the katana that gives you +5 cooking skill or w/e. though it may share the same skin as the Kard, it is classified in the modelviewer undel 1h katana

The Dagger in that picture is neither a Kard or a Hocho, it's the graphic used for the knife Chef Nonberry holds in Uggalepih and is unused for any weapon so far. Seeing as it matchs totally with Kard's icon and the actual graphic used for Kard looks nothing like it, I'd expect (and hope) it to get changed in the future.

The new Katana that was mentioned is called Nikkariaoe, it's dropped from Orctrap in Carpenters Landing. I killed it and got the drop tonight for my Ninja. Be warned though that it was mega camped on Ragnarok and probably will be on your server too.
