Taru Ninja?

do tarus make good ninjas? i like being taru, but magic is not my favorite thing but i still like it. i know a taru thief is ok, at least it used to be, i havent had this game for like 5 months and i wanna start playing again, but a ton of things have changed. and i cant remember if ttarus make good ninjas or not. if they do make good ones, then which do u think is better? taru NIN or taru SAM?

Taru have high Agility and Agility helps for both of the jobs

Every race works as a NIN, and every race has their down-side.

The big down-side of a Tarutaru is the HP. The best NINs will get hit. This is expecially a problem with strong single-targeted TP attacks (Sickle Slash, Deadly Hold, ect.). So as a Taru NIN, you have to be more careful about your shadow usage then any other race.

There are times where I wish I had more HP, but its far too late to go back and start Nin again as anything else but Taru. The slight agility edge is pretty nice, decent dex too. Ninja's probably one of the jobs in this game that relies much, much more on equipment than race bonuses. The lower HP can be a problem, especially with the AOE thing, but if you know how to get a shadow image up asap when you run out, its not a problem. There are ofcourse, some attacks that hit you no matter what, but once again if you can have a shadow image up in time..or up at all, it should save you well..as well as smart, dynamic use of Defender at 50 for certain situations.

Ninja's defintiely a difficult job to start as, but Taru's can surely do it, they can do it quite well in fact. The HP thing is a bit of a drag, but its not really all that big of a deal to a Ninja, to me at least.

Although it sure would feel safer sometimes having Elvaan/Galka hp..

But playing Taru Ninja is more than worth it imo just to be able to do a Tarutaru's Blade: Ten. Best Ten animation in the game, I think without question. Look for it, I really want to be able to use it and go all acrobatic.
