how to make gil?

hey guys,

After serching the forums a bit i havent found a good solid way of making gil. So far i farm Crawlers for silk but is there a easier/more profitable way to make the cash to fund ninja? I want to be a great ninja and hopefully not be gimp. I'm willing to work to make the best out of this job... just need a little help on how to do it. At my disposal is a 34 thief.

I'm at 43 NIN now, and gil isn't a problem at all, my equipment will last me to AF as-is. A lot of NIN expenses come early, aside from the operating cost, which can be farmed pretty easily by anyone. Of course I'm also a 62 WAR, so I had millions of gil in equipment and more options for where I could farm.

At 34 your farming options are limited. Silks and beehive chips are good for your level. It's time-consuming but it's very possible to finance good equip for your NIN by doing this. I made the vast bulk of my money farming in North Gustaberg night after night because I worked evenings and wasn't on until JP time. You can look at my equip in my sig if you like, it's respectable I think, so it can be done.

Might also want to look into fishing.

I am not a Ninja but i think a good way is with killing Morrion its a 15 min spawn and no one really camps it often even though it has 3 spawn points at15 min at a random on but at 25-30k at crystal is not bad with TH you should make a good profit off of it but the down side is you need Iron Ores to get it to spawn and those are 600-700 gil each but after you kill Morrion you can kill the near by worms and you might just be lucky and get a iron ore back ^0^ good luck on that though

Yughott Grotto is a good place to try. Orcs drop gil, theres Mining points, and theres an Orc NM that Drops hermits wand (between 3.5-5k on garuda..dunno how its been) and rarely a Priests Robe (lvl19, but worth around 35k)

hmm 3-5.5k or 25k every 15 min and on the plus you dont need to spend more money getting all the mining armor unless you already have it and its every 15 min on the dot if you get all the drops and you farm all day like me and a friend did cause he has TH2 and i now have TH we can pull 1 mill in a day

1mil a day's pretty impressive, I'm mentioning Yughott maily because it's survivable. A 38 RDM friend of mine couldn't solo the morion worm though, I don't know how well it would treat a 34 THF.

true it is a hard kill my friend (the thf) went to solo camp it and still had a hard time and he is 50 cause he never killed the other near worms and they will link spell him like crazy

1mil a day? at lvl 45 minimum? doubt it. your TH and his TH2 dont stack. >.>

now, maybe you could get 1mil a day 1x a month depending on if that day is strait drops, 24/7...

btw, not meaning to flame or anything, just saying, thats a little to unrealistic, am i wrong?

he keep HQ elemntal staff and another things his lv 102 goldsmithing (this people must sell gil i mean what you can do with all this kind of gil :confused: )

Elemental Staves are made by high level woodworking, not Goldsmithing. Goldsmithing only comes into play when making stones from the ores. 90+ woodworking is recommended to make elemental staves. You can do it at lower lvl, but HQ chance is lower.
