this is mainly looking at ninja gear. ive looked through alot of nin only items and stuff and so if the ninjas are meant to be tanks and are supsoe to be tanks then why is mostly all of the nin gear for damage. the cursed gear is accuracy and attack. the af is attack accuracy and ranged attac/accuracy. the lvl 70 nin earing is haste the jse is agi and throwing.

in the book they are called assassins which is mostly the opposite of being a tank trying to get hit. they can do good damage if you give em nice fast haste with good weapons an example is

ninja using af body with lvl 70 nin earing and a suppanoi. giving enchance dual wield twice along with ahste+20% as a latent effect. dual wielding two Rai Kunimitsu. with some more haste gear a nin can hit 100% hatse doubling there attack speed. the nin is effectively attacking 4 times for every 1 attack of a drg or a drk. gaining 5 tp for each hit the nin gets 20 tp when they get 12ish. 10% critical hit rate bonus causing critical to come alot more. all these things can make a nin do good damage but why is alot of nins i see only willing to be tanks and not willing to belive that a nin can do very good damage.

Well it sounds actually very good if you can get the latent effect 20% to work. Its just that most of the time since ninja's are tanking, you want a combination of agility and evasion as well. Maybe having an equipment macro when you do lose some life to get the haste can help, most of the time though people want a balance of evasion and agility, and some emnity and maybe attack if you can fit it in most of the time.

Higher level people have to respond to this though, I can't talk with personal experience on this, just what I hear. :sweat:
