Ninja Guild (macro)

Macro guild for Ninja.

I'm currently a level 63 Ninja so I'm going to use my macro set for this guild.
Here is my currently equipment for experience point party at the moment, these will be use in the macro sets.

Weapon: Kabutowari x 2
Head: Emperor Hairpin, Ninja Hatsuburi
Body: Byrnie
Hands: Arhat's Tekko
Legs: Ninja Hakama
Feet: Fuma Kyahan, Arhat's Sune-Ate
Earrings: Dodge Earring x 2, Eris' Earring x 2
Rings: Sniper's Ring x 2, Mermaid Ring
Waist: Life belt
Back: Amemit Mantle
Range: Moonring Blade / Ammo: Manji Shuriken / Bailathorn

Okay, the macros set are followed: there are 10 macros in each set, one is access by using Ctrl or L2 the other is Alt or R2.

So there you have it, the macro that helps me keep hate and blink tank successfully. If you're before 60, or don't have access to those gears, feel free to modify the

macros to your needs.

I've blink tank successfully with the party set up of: DRK/RNG/BLM/WHM/RDM/ and me as NIN

It's easy to keep hate, provoke first when mob comes, debuff the blind and slow first, recast shadows as it wore it with Utsusemi: Ni, cast paralyze, cast Utsusemi: Ichi

when the 3rd shadow is eat up. Use recast macro to tell when Utsusemi: Ni and Provoke is ready to use again. Debuff elemental for the blackmage to do extra damage. If you run in trouble and no shadow is up, and only Utsusemi: Ichi is up to cast, start casting Ichi when the mob is about to hit you, around 20-30% through cast time it should hit you, you will not be interupted. So time it well and you have blink back up.

Also every time u switch off your Evasion gear to something else, like hairpin to Ninja AF head. You are losing your evasion and have a greater chance to lose a shadow on the next attack. Also switching gear in and out makes it harder for your healer to target you, in case youn take some damage. +5 Ninjutsu isnt enough for me to continually losing shadows for.

Macroing Haste gear however i have discovered to be incredibly useful and a trick that not many know about :-)

Also, all those /recast /recast spamage for Utsusemi is completly nullified once you use any of your other macros. Just use one /recast per macro and hit your macro when you need to know how long you have to wait for the next Utussemi. You should have a general 'feeling' as to when it will be ready.

The lower Resistance warnings to the party are nice when you have a blm or rdm in the party. But after doing it for awhile, it ends up becoming more anoying then useful. Mobs are typically weak to 1-2 elements at most, and thats what you should debuff to anyhow.

And finally about equiping the ninja headpiece to cast Tonko. From what i uderstand tonko NI and Ichi have a standard aout of lasting time, REGARDLESS of your ninjutsu skill. Besises that, everything else is great, correct me if i am wrong about anything^6

Thanks for the input, I was half asleep when I wrote this. XD

Yeah that's true missing out on 10 evasion while casting debuff. But the mob only will hit one of the shadow during the cast time, it's not a huge sacrifice for a few seconds.
