So I was coffer farming Castle Oztroja as Thief and saw a Yag Assasin casting Jubaku: Ni. Which made me wonder...

Why the hell don't we get it?!?!?!

I'm 52 and I should be able to be casting Dokumori: Ni but... it doesn't exist either. And the San series of course which... I've heard about since I first logged in to FFXI 9 months ago.

Granted Ninja is overpowered as is but... it kinda sucks... past 50 there's no new spells to look forward to. ; ;

i think if you have enough money ninjas can be over powered. being able to tank perfectly and still havin the potential to be a good dmg dealer ie. throwing shurikens.

but not to go off topic square will probably implement new spells later on in the game, maybe in the next expansion.

maybe overpowered is the wrong word... but as far as a rationale for leaving the San line out of the game it's about the only thing I could really come up with.

As far as Jubaku: Ni I would *kill* for this spell. I keep Jusatu on me at all times for when whm/rdm para just won't stick. The cast time hurts tho, even while hasted.

I'd like to see the San line introduced into the game. Would be great. Utsusemi San and Hyoton San would be really nice.

Utsu San WILL make any competent NIN overpowered. A good nin will be untouchable with SAN. Its all about how you use Utsu.
As far as other ninjutsu , San would be welcome and it will not over power nin in any way. BTW Ninja is not overpowered in any form-shape-nor fashion at this moment. At endgame a ninjas main role of tanking is stripped away and is turned into a stun or spirits whore ><
