The best thing technically we can buy is Scorpian Harness which is around 5million and looks like hell and is only +10acc and +10eva. Honestly not even worth the money for the stats that it boosts; why bother?

Then there is Ninja AF (which blo's), Cardinal vest (meh), Ninja JSE (meh).

Also AF-2... but thats pretty difficult to obtain...and even that is orange & fruity.

One of the richest ninjas on my server who's the head of a HNMLS looks pretty awful in his full battle gear. Think it's best to just carry around your AF and wear that in town, and swap out when you get into the field. :sweat:

Sounds to me like somebody's trying to convince themself that they don't need the Scorpion Harness. Of course you don't need it but it is the best Ninja Armor. Not technically.(Along with some other jobs) If the cost bothers you that much then fight Serket and get the Venomous Claw yourself.

But since like you said it looks like hell (it doesn't)and is only +10acc and +10eva (find any piece of armor that can beat those stats) why bother right?

5 million gil that will be hardly worth it, which is infact the point of the topic.

The only way I would get it would be to get the Venomous Claw like you said.

I was just simply trying to make known that even the "best" armor, really isn't that great.

I guess Shura set is aimed towards mnk and sam more.

I'd say scorpion harness is a huge investment, but worth it because it would last you until lv. 75. Plus it has that "PIMP" factor to it ('∇')

has +ATK +ACC WHICH IS VERY VERY NICE.

+10-16 ATK +10-16 ACC... SOMEWHERERE AROUND THESE NUMBERS.

I have scorpion harness now but I agree highlevel ninja armor variety is pretty thin.
Kirin's osode looks nice if you are a stat boost fiend (and level 75 :p ), but you are losing +acc and +evade.

There ends up being 2 kind of highlevel ninja at 75:
One with scorp harness+optical hat,
*or* you are sporting full god armor (kirin osode, byakko,genbu armors).

Optical hat is so 'meh' looking, I dread the day I put my hairpin away and don this thing because I need it to be at the top of my game.
I got my harness to be a better tank and show others im a dedicated ninja and not being a slacker on gear. I kind of miss the mostly black AF armor look, wishing the harness was black or blue. Sounds silly but i'm excited when I have more clothing options like an arhat gi+1 or war shinobi gi+1 for farming :sweat:

A side note: Paralyze sticks on me pretty easily with the -20ice on harness, which is annoying when farming high end caster monsters for loot. Don't get me wrong, the harness is all its cracked up to be, im just never happy with anything I guess

As for NIN AF2, it comes from one of the hardest dynamis battles i'm told, good luck getting that after you die a ton of times
