Upcoming Ninja. Tool help.

Hi, I'm a level 11 NIN right now, farming yag beads for norg fame at the moment. I'm trying to get a grasp on how many stacks of tools I should exactly buy before I go out and party. I thought 1-2 stacks of utsusemi:ichi tools would last me a while, but I've heard someone say they would use 3-4 stacks per level (don't know what level they were at, however). So, before I start partying, I would like to have the correct supplies. How many stacks of Utsusemi:Ichi tools would I need to keep in stock so that I wouldn't have to go back and for between hometown and dunes a lot (maybe every 2-3 levels) between levels 12-20?

PS: This is for my THF sub so I'm trying to spend as little as I can and still make it to 37 with NIN. I'm hoping to get away with a few PTs that don't make me tank. ^^

You may be able to get by 12-20 with only 1-3 stacks of Ninjitsu in Valkrum if you try not to play main tank, I left Valkrum at 16 for Korro Tunnel though so not sure, and many times just sat back and chain casted ninjitsu to raise my skill while the mages stonega 3-4 worms at once for easy chains :D
