Farming.

I am currently a main WAR 30/MNK, I've tied all melee ADV jobs, liked none of them, all so one sided, so I've decided to continue to tread the path of the versatile WAR. Now...here's the catch. I realise I'm gonna have to soon sub the /NIN, I have always been a little dubious about Ninjas since I hear they are V.V.V..V.V.V.V.V.V.V.V.Expenise. The quest coudl easily be done witha little hired high-level help, however to even consider a NIN sub i would need to learn to farm and fast.
I tries NM's, namely Spook and the one's in Ghelsba but peoplea lwasy beat me to the Provoke because theya re pros and do it every time. NM's are not worth waiting for to then lose to palyers who KNOW how to quickly pull thema nd get it right every time. I turned to Fishing which is the first Guild I've actuably made a decent profit from, I am now a level 5 fisher and doin' the ol' Moat Carps for 4K a stack. However though this is profitable it is very time consuming, therea re good and bad days and the bad days can mean spending hours just to catch 3 carp...Is there any good way to faqrm money effectivly...emphasis on effective, not neccessarliy fast but in steady accumulating increments.
Figure NIn the most EXP job would know so ^^-->THX in advance.

silk, tree cuttings, beetle jaws, rolanberries, mining, crafting.

You list all of those but they mean nothing, how does one go about effectivly harvesting those? I heard mining is REALLY ineffective now and very slow as there is a lot of competition, but how do you go about all of these?

Yeah well there is competition in my farming spots too, noone is going to cough up where they make their best money.
Try different subs, visit a few areas kill things for a couple hours and make note how much you made in the process - thats what I did. THF isn't always the best sub to make money with.

I'm halfway to a scorp harness (4.7 million on my server) and I have only 1 lv 60+. I'm gonna try and prove stan wrong that you can get one with a lv 60 char. Hell, I may even go all out and go after a +1

You can get one at lvl 20 also if you just farm instead of xp :sweat:

Yeah, you can. One of my friends just camps Hoo Mjuu the Torrent instead of leveling... She's a level 30 WAR with a bit more than 1mil.
