Mithras = Best Ninjas?

Hey, I was wondering since I am going to become a future ninja, are Mithras the best ninjas since of their high agi/dex?

Agi is the stat that boosts evasion, so yes, mithras make the best ninjas I believe. I think tarus have equally high agi, but their hp and vit is lower, so before L37 (or whenever utsusemi: ni becomes availible) they take a serious beating when their shadows run out.

I'm going to say that in my opinion tarus make the worst ninjas, only because they have the least hp for emergency situations. Other than that, all the other races are pretty much equal overall. I've partied with many ninjas and I've never felt that any particular race was a clearly superior one.

At higher level ninja take a majority of their damage from AE or status effects that ignore utsusemi, so yes tarutaru is the most fragile ninja.
You don't want to be a mithra ninja, be a hume - I like mithra ninja's to stay rare :p

There is no definite best, thats what makes the game, a game. If you want a NIN that isnt resisted as much with spells go Hume or Taru(though they are fragile). If you want a stronger NIN go Elvaan or possibly Galka, but they have less AGI. Its all about trade-offs.

Taru HP is low, but 12-37 I never found it to be a liability and it never stopped me from getting group invites.

12-37. Valkurm, Qufim, Battalia, Garlaige, Kazham Jungles, and Gustav Tunnel.

Couldn't say for higher levels but it was pretty much a non factor.

Mithra have second highest INT in the game.... the same level as Hume have.

Taru do NOT have the same AGI either...

What are the pros/cons of each race when becoming Ninja then?

Galka - Best "overall" attacker (second best DEX and STR). High VIT and HP for when shit hits the fan. Second worse Evasion and INT.

Elvaan - Best...umm....one hitters? Most STR, worst accuracy, evasion, and INT. Second highest HP and VIT.

Hume - Best "overall" everything, but instead of excelling and one thing and eing poor in others, they're sub-par in all. Third best evasion, HP, VIT, and str. Second most INT and dex.

Mithra - Best evasion. Highest evasion and accuracy. Second lowest STR, VIT, and HP. Third highest INT.

Tarutaru - Best ninjitsu. Highest mind. Second highest evasion and accuracy. Worst HP, VIT, and STR.

One thing that's been neglected is that whether you're a good or bad ninja depends very little on your race and a lot on what you put into the job... the difference between a good galka NIN and a good tarutaru NIN is pretty minimal, beyond looks, although the tarutaru NIN would probably have more problems pre-37, and maybe on high-damage AoE mobs... mithra and hume can have those problems, too, though, 'cause they're second-lowest for HP.

I'm almost positive mithra and hume have identical INT, btw, which would be the only stat they share in common besides HP and MP. Also, I'm pretty sure tarutarus have second-highest DEX/AGI, with hume and galka tying for third in DEX, and I think ... galka taking fourth for AGI...? Elvaan is dead last for INT, DEX, and AGI, but second highest for HP, and highest for STR and MND.

Mithra are tied with Hume for 2nd highest Int, Taru and Mithra are tied for lowest Mnd with Elvaan having the highest Mnd.

I believe Mithra and Taru have the same Vit, but don't call me on that one.

I think there is no best race... I think there's the best "blink tank" then races from so it's Tanking Skills > Races.

If you go Elvaan you're damage output would be better from any other ninja race.

If you go Galka you HP will be high so you can take hits better than others.

If you go Hume you are overall ninja nothing bad but nothing good.

If you go Mithra you will be an evasion god dodge many hits.

If you go Taru you'll be a Cute Ninja you'll have the second best DEX and AGI.

So these are just the stats that help you become a better tank you chose what you want, imo.

in my opinion, race/job combinations are not that critical. i feel that when u reach higher levels in the game, there are so many ways to compensate for deficiencies in your race.

im a taru ninja/warrior at 51. my base str is 46. after i eat mithkabobs, in addition with my gear, i have 46+23.

a elvaan ninja/warrior at 51 has a base str of 58. take into acct of eating food and gear for elvaan. i still think i dont fall that short behind elvaan in the str dept.

what im tryin to say, if you pick not 'the best' race for a particular job, it is not the end of the world.
