Mermaids ring is really not needed because at 50 if you see that you have problems holding hate then you need to revamp your fighting. +2 hate is not worth 300k and sometime that extra hate could kill you. Choose 2 of the 3 and make it work. Acc+Atk can go nicely together as well as evade+acc, but sadly because of the equipment slots evade+atk will only give mediocre results. Note to the wise, if you decide to go with ochi, I suggest you stack atk as high as you can to take advantage of the starting base that the kotes give.

Edit: Also the - DEF on snipers is not even a concern for a ninja. You get hit HARD regardless, dont get hit

+20 attack makes little to no diffrence with the low dmg katana's I use mith kabobs and my dmg goes up maybe 1-2 points/hit, kinda a real waste of gil if you ask me.

I'm still iffy about whether or not to get Sniper Rings. I'm lvl 48 now, with a paltry +3 to accu, and still hit IT mobs fairly frequently, not to mention nearly all misses are backed by a crit. Getting the Hairpin and Ochiudo's Kote are my current goals. I may switch my Survival Belt for a life belt as soon as I hit 50, but I'll have to see how dramatic a change there is between the mobs I'm fighting now, and the one's I'll be fighting then.

By comparison to everyone else, my gear sux, as I've been struggling to find a balance of raw att, acc/racc, eva vs. dex, agi, and str.

My main concern is str and dex right now.. mostly dex/acc. After that I'll build my armor accordingly until I get AF.

What are some possible rings I could get, minus snipers? I still use my sandy ring lol, dunno why, and a str +2 ring. I wanna upgrade/change those, but can't decide on what.
