  • rdm enfeebles or nin enfeebles?

what are any of your thoughts on what works better? i know the rdm is supposed to be the king of debuffs, but at times i see that my ninjutsu enfeebles stick when rdm enfeebles dont.

is there any formula/logic to this? or is it completely random if both enfeebling/ninjutsu lvls are maxed?

Well when ninja uses that para ninjitsu i see it kicks in a lot more then a RDM or any mage. Its a very nice little effect.

Slow (Hojo) let the Nin do, for hate purposes.

Elemental debuffs, the Nin can do.

As for the others, let the RDM do it if the pt has one, the Nin can easily cover it otherwise. or if the Nin is having issues holding hate, let him do it.

I always toss my enfeebles at the start of a fight even with a rdm in the pt, if something of mine doesnt stick the rdm always follows up with their enfeebles.
Even if I had a whm to cast para or slow and a rdm to blind right when the pull came in I still prefer to cast mine first to buildup more hate.

Personally as a RDM I'm glad to see NIN cover the enfeebles they can, it leaves me more time/MP for the elemental enfeebles (Shock etc), gravity, dia2, dispel (and sometimes healing/nuking too). Although the ones NIN can do are the cheap ones in MP, paralyze has significant casting time and I'd rather be casting something else during that time. Para slow blind are all useful and a NIN can cast them for no MP, so why not?

Plus, it gets more hate on the NIN and less on me, which is usually better since most NIN keep blink up even if they aren't the main tank.

Disclaimer: I haven't partied with a NIN since getting Refresh. But given that it tends to be MORE work and MP consumption for me rather than less, I'd think the above would apply even more strongly.
