  • Decided...

After spending times as various jobs, I decided to make my mains Samurai and Ninja (Thief or BST sometimes to earn gil, but mostly Sam and Nin)

Now, I had originally planned BST and BRD, so my level 30 job is my WHM, I don't have War levelled very high yet.

I have recently finished the Norg ninjitsu quests (Without much of a problem), so those are done, but what would you guys recommend as a good path for levelling my Nin? Prior to getting Utsusemi: Ni, does having /Thf or /War matter much, since /Thf's stats will be better (and I'd be a better backup tank than main tank without Ni) or should I just focus on levelling my War? In which case, would it be best to level my War when I take 'breaks' for gil-farming, or to level it to 30 or so right away?

    Ramuh, Leviathan, Shiva, Ifrit acquired.

I'd recommend subbing WHM for solo before you get into parties, because being able to cure yourself, even if it is only once or twice, can be a lifesaver.

At about 10, you could start getting into parties... but I didn't party till 12-13, because I've had horrible experience with parties before that point, and I didn't really offer much to parties. So I just subbed /THF and killed mass amounts of easy prey beastmen till I got to...whenever it was I started partying... not before Utsusemi, anyway.

If your WAR is level 1, level it before you head off to Valkurm with your NIN, level NIN through the Valkurm stage, then level WAR - at least, that's what I'd recommend. You could do the same through Qufim, because in Qufim, you'll use all of the same equipment (except for weapons...). After you're done with Qufim on WAR, you'll be set for quite a while on NIN.
