LevelingNIN as a sub

I am mainly going for the THF/NIN combination because i really am not into the aspect of a tank. However i do know that NINs are tanks for the most part and i am just wondering, is it possible to really go up to lvl 30(its just a sub) with just Utsusemi? I know its obviously better to have other things and the sort, and yes you can even say i am lazy if you like. But seeing that i will dump the job later and focus on a THF main instead, is it possible to just spend a little less on the scrolls and go up to 30?

If that isnt possible, a small outline for the first 30 levels would help. Or a link to a particular thread i missed..>.>

Yes it's possible to lvl Ninja to 30 with just Utsusemi: Ichi. I did it ><;; but now i have most of the Ninja scrolls and my Ninja is only lvl 32 (I'm working on my RDM at the moment).

This is how i did it:

I just tried to make my own party and have a backup voker, eat meatkabobs, use Ustusemi, tell the backup voker to provoke when I start taking damage, use Utsusemi again and provoke, etc... I did pretty good damage too with the meatkabobs.
