Ninjutsu; Utsuemi: Ichi Quest.

Who do I go to; to get this quest? How much fame do I need? Are the aggro's magic sensitive? (Meaning: Do I need Slime Oils, or, can I just use my RDM's magic.) Is the quest hard? Do you need a map for the quest? How could I procure enough fame?

OK, I've done this one last night, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I feared it would be. Key thing is to stay silent. Also, bring along a silver beastcoin, you need it.

There are 2 ways to get this scroll. Gather enough Tenshodo fame (by doing Bastok Zinc Ore runs or Windurst Yagudo Necklace runs) or fork out 100K and get it off an Auction House that stocks it. You can check your Tenshodo fame in Lower Jeuno, in the Neptune's Spire. Talk to the Mithra behind the counter and check the price of riceballs (mine were at 153, that was enough for the Utsusemi: Ichi quest, and that should also be enough for the Leviathan quest).

I quested for it, saves a whole load of gil you can burn on powders.

Talk to Laisren to get the quest. What you need to do basicly is get an item for The Sahagin's Stash (the name of the quest).

I switched to a lvl 1 character, stripped bare naked (some say this makes Sneak or Silent Potions last a bit longer, others say it doesn't matter) and tracked back to the Yuhntunga Jungle entrance (stay all the way to the left).

Once there, enter the Sea Serpent Grotto again, pop a Silent Oil (or cast Sneak if you can) and start running. Be sure to recast Sneak or pop another Oil when it expires. Everything is Sound aggro here, so no need for Deoderize or Invisible. Keep the wall to your left until you see a big door in grid J-10. Just before the door, turn left and keep left.

After a while, you come across a closed, stone door in grid N-14. Examine it until it says something like "you see a tiny silver shimmer...". Now, trade a silver beastcoin to the door and it will open. Keep running (North if I remember correctly) until you see a drop in the floor in grid H-8, drop down, keep running North (same way as keeping the wall to your left, which you need to do). After a while there will be a second drop in G-5, but DON'T drop down there. If everything went well you should be in a treasure chamber now. Find the ??? in H-3 and trigger it for a cutscene.

After the scene you can go back to Norg. Either you track your way back, Warp / Teleport or use the ever popular Ghetto Warp (the last option is only advisable when using a lvl 1 character).

After your back in Norg talk to Laisren again to get the Utsusemi: Ichi scroll. Use it or sell it for a good profit.
