Gear questions

I generally focus on DEX, Accuracy and Attack items.

My focus so far, has gone to str and dex and accu. I have a +15 to evasion right now and it'll probably sit there til I get a scorpion harness (7 mil in our server ;

As lvls progress I don't see much change coming in what I got now. All the things I mentioned I wanted won't make much change in my overall stats except I'll have plus ten more accuracy with a lifebelt which, if I tank, will help me keep hate like a mofo.

Plus str on an elvaan might sound rediculous, but I like the results they've brought.

I got 2 more levels tonight, got my jujitsu gi on and absolutely loving the +accuracy on the gi combined with my dex. Beetles with evasion boost aren't a problem to hit at all.
The gi is totally worth the 100k i spent on it, I can understand why theres never more than 1 in the AH.

I'm still wearing the federation trousers even though the 14def is pretty sad, the 3evasion and 1vit is helplful. The level 38 sitabaki with 8more def and 1dex 1agi don't seem worth the loss in evade.
Anyways, i've been toying with the idea of wearng a sniper ring, and balancing the loss in def with an aegis ring (lev38 +5def) until I could wear a phalanx on the other finger at 50.

Its a bit crazy but i'm doing well at not taking a scratch tanking so maybe 2snipers wouldnt be bad, the ability to land quick hits consistently dual wielding really help hold hate. The +range acc wouldn't go to waste either on the rings when you throw some stars to keep the hate lock on you solid.

So much cool stuff to buy, time to get to work gilfarming again ^^

I made lvl 41 today, real close to 42. I also started lvling with my static group which all consists of member of my LS. Being with them let me concentrate on my more physical side. Doing 50ish damage per swing just looked nice lol

My attack armor seems to be living up to my expectations as well, the +12 str with food and +6 dex make for some dual slashing mayhem and with a bard buffing my accu even more it's making it hard even for the pld to dominate the hatred

My weapon skills are starting to do 200+ damage without any elemental weakening and overall I just feel good about the equipment I have so far.

Now all I need is to restock on ninja tools so that my arsenal can once again be at it's near max (near, cause mt throwing skill isn't anywhere near capped )

if possible I'm going to try to keep most of my gear with the stats I have no in those ranges. possibly getting better as my lvls progress. I don't see any downhill struggle going on equipmentwise and as long as my pt stays together I can further explore what it's like outside the tanking arena.

Just a quick question..
Yesterday, i saw a Lv33 ninja holding two different ex/rare katana. they have the exactualy opposite stats on each of them...are they the AF katanas? I thought you dont get them until lv 42..

yes, those are the AF1 set, you can equip them right at 40, that's what I'm using now. I didn't think you could even get the quest til lvl 40, but i could be wrong.

I'm doing ninja AF1 this weekend, and wondering if using both AF katana is really working out well.
I've got used to using a dagger( fed kuhkri +3acc +7atk) in my offhand and not sure I want to give up this weapon yet because its pretty quick (184) and i like the stat bonuses on it.
I can actually keep up on tp gain pretty well when doing a tachi:enpi -> blade:retsu chain with a SAM in pt, and have time to blink/ninjitus debuff, using both AF katanas will seem so slow i'm afraid ; ;.
I am going to try using the AF katana with the +2dex and the dagger and see how it works out.

yeah, the two of them together is a slightly faster than a 2 hander.

The plus 2 str one is like 230ish delay and the other 218 I think.

Haste remedies some of the slowness, I just like the damage output I'm getting at the moment.

I think you'll like the dex one. Even with the 218 delay it's pretty quick with dual wield II. Can't wait to get III in 4 more lvls ^^
