Who causes more damage over time?

Just out of curiosty, who normally causes more damage over time, a Nin/War with all three dualwield mods or a Pal/War at the same level?

Pal damage really sucks, so i would think ninja would beat a pal flat out auto attacking and since ninja gets the very nice Ni series I would confidantly say NIN/WAR would do more damage.

Nin/War hands down. Even without all the Duel Wield upgrades, while Ninja's arn't within the league of dedicated Damage Dealer's they still hold they're own in melee combat. I imagine with all 4 (There's another at 65, way up there) you make up for your mid way single hit damage with a high quantity of hits, as well as status effect inducing weaponry, and Ninja's also have Shurikens and A + Throwing ability. At its best with Berserk, the proper food, haste, and updated equipment a Ninja's damage is pretty well balanced I think. Not low, not obsenely high. Paladin's on the other hand are almost completely defensive. Most of they're magic is defensive spells which are designed to attract hate to the Paladin, and even if a Paladin went all out with offensive equipment and wielded a Great Sword or Polearm its damage would still be somewhat limited, its just not in they're design. It works well that way, as Paladin's use provoke and they're abilities to absorb hate like a sponge, and that little bit of extra damage adds up bits and bits of hate which is more important in the tanking game. But on the topic, Ninja's have a few more offensive tools at they're disposal than the Paladin. Although Pally's do get to use powerful Sword Weapon skills like Spirits within and eventually Savage Blade (Whatever it does), for a boost in damage from time to time, but overall I think its less.

Ninjas do more damage on average than a PLD and they can keep Berserk up because of utsusemi. On top of that, if a Ninja throws shurikens (good ones, not the cheap ones) they can do more damage than a DRK without Soul Eater. This is just from my experience in the low to mid 30's with Ninja.
