NIN Scrolls

I was wondering if you can do quest for all the NIN scrolls? and if so can you plz post a link or post it here i would like to do the quest myself then say buying them save me cash, since i will be making all my own powders.

Speak to Keal in Norg to start the Tonko: Ichi quest.
Use the Nomad Moogle in Norg and change your job to any level 1 job you prefer. This way you can keep trying without fear of
losing XP. Also note that Silent Oil does indeed last much longer (perhaps almost twice as long) if you remove all of your equipment
(weapons and armor.)
Head out of Norg (A).
Follow tunnel straight to door marked (B).
Turn right and head to the door marked (C), then continue to door at (D).
You will now be in a room with a boarded floor. Check (examine) the iron box (E) in the room to receive a key item.
Return to Norg (or just die) and talk to Keal. He will give you Tonko: Ichi (the Ninja's level 9 invis spell.)





Now speak to Laisren, who is behind the two shop-keeps in the main part of Norg, to start the next quest.
Again, exit Norg (A) and make your way to the door marked (B).
Now head to the area marked (F). The arrow indicates that you can only go one way here, as once you drop down you can't move back
the other way.
Once you've dropped down, continue along the path to the door in the southeast marked (G). This door is at the back of the l
arge cavern on the map, and is in between two waterfalls.
You'll have to examine the door about 6 times, the description should change each time. Eventually you will notice silver shavings
around the hole in the door, then you can trade a silver beastcoin to the door to pass through. You will now be at (G) on Map #2.
Note that you get to keep the silver beastcoin, it isn't removed from your inventory by passing through the door.
From here, simply follow the tunnel until you arrive at the cliff (H).
Once you've dropped down the cliff, follow this tunnel to the door at (I).
Again, examine the chest at (J). This time you will see a cutscene, after which you can exit the room.
You can now travel to (K) on Map #2, which will bring you to (K) on Map #1. From here it's a simple walk back to (B) and then back
into Norg. Alternatively, you can just die again.
Speak to Laisren again, and he will reward you with Utsuseme: Ichi (the Ninja's level 12 blink spell.)

I know it's been asked where to buy the elemental scrolls, and everyone simply says 'vendors in norg/neptune's spire/bastok',
but the ones I've found sell only Katon, Huton, Doton, and Suiton. What am I missing?


have been told that there are two quests in Norg for ninjutsu scrolls requiring you to bring 10 rusty leggings and 10 rusty subligars
(two seperate quests) to the NPC (Ryoma?). Where is the best place to fish for these and what is the best lure/pole combo for
catching them? Poison and Blind check AH from them may be cheaper to just buy.

Lady in the bar in Norg (left door on the way to the guy gives samuri quest) gives a quest to go to G8 in Yhoator Jungle
and fill a barrel with something. I'm pretty sure that's where I got the spell.

Heres my input:

To buy the 6 elemental debuffs there is an npc in norg (a man standing next to a "pillar") he sells ALL 6 elemental spells as well as mosy of the drk absorb spells.

Larisean will give the utsusemi quest, you need high fame.

The two npc for poison and blind are on top of the place that larisean is in. It might be cheaper to buy but this also raises your norg fame.

Wassau (sp) will give the Hojo Ichi quest. It is not exactly G-8. I got mine in E-9, It can be almost anywhere in yhoator although i would suggest starting to look in G-8, G-7 and woring over to E-9 if you still havent found it. It can also be found near the telepoint.

I know these quests work as I have done them all.

My question is how to get Jubaku:Ichi. This is the only one i have not gotten.

Found out how to get the last one.
Kinda vague info though:

Get the "Damp Scroll".
Talk to Shivivi (norg?)
Trade the scroll to the Hot Springs to receive: Scroll of Jubaku:Ichi
(geshbla?)

Hyoton and Raiton are sold in Norg.

And the ??? you need for the barrel thing randomly spawns in that area. I found it next to a logging point on a tree.

There's another ??? over to the east near a pond.. it's not that one. =P
