Ok this is my first actual post but ive been reading the boards for a while, anyway on to what I noticed. Earlier tonight while partying Yhoator on my Nin/War we were joined be a Nin/Thf as well. He was using a great katana as i do sometimes as well (sounds so cool), anywy he would Sneak and Tachi: Enpi the mandrogora in the back, and was scoring hits from the 125 to 200 range. I myself was averaging about 50 to 90 a Enpi as well, so perhaps the combo might not be so bad if you use great katana. It does cap abit lower then our one hand katana skill (same as one hand sword i think?), and i see alot of ninjas using regular swords so i cant be that bad. Anyway with added thf dex and what not it should make hitting alot easier even with an inferior skill weapon, so i was just wondering if anyone else has tried this and what they think. Or if some higher level people would like to try it out and let me know the results.

Well, if you're going to use GK, why not just be samurai? I'm fairly certain ninjas only get access to a handful of the GK's available, and I imagine that would limit their effectiveness at certain levels. -
I mostly dont use G. Katana, but at times ive found it makes keeping hate alot easier, especially after an Enpi and a provoke or two (sometimes those high defense mobs can shrug off one hand katana damage like nothing). I did some more research on Great Katana weapon skills and it seems Enpi is the only one for a long time that you would really get any decent damage off sneak, and like i said, i cant say it would even work for long, but it would be something to think about. Does anyone know if Sneak + Ranged attacks will work? Like Sneak Shuriken throw, if it did it would be some decent damage if not then blah!

Sneak does not work with Bow attacks, so I doubt they work with throwing weapons.Comment
