haste or agi/evasion, nin/thf or nin/war

my ninja is lvl 6 and im still wondering about what subjob and what equipment i should get.like should i spend the extra money and get haste equipment for faster dmg dealing or should i get agi/evasion equipment. my friends said i should only use thf as a subjob if i only have treasure hunter(mainly for farming), should i lvl my thf to 15 or just go ahead and keep subbing my war(wich is 30)
