Help on Utsusemi: Ichi Quest!!! (BLINK)

So I have done all my fame work, and was finnaly able to do the quest. I recieve the quest from Laisren and begun my trek in the Sea Grotto. I went to the door where I was suppose to trade a beastcoin with. Other guides tell me that it's a Silver Beastcoin, but when I did it asked for a gold beastcoin. After going through the door with a goldbeast coin, I went down several cliffs until I reached a hidden door. When i entered the door there was two Octopuses and a NPC, "Bou the Righteous" After looking through this area I didn't find any "???". I was just wondering if this was the correct location? I'm down to 8 silence oils, when i started with 30!!!. Help me Please!!! Thank You.

you went through the wrong door, I got lost myself and I think I followed the right wall back to another door..eventually I found out it's just easier to set your hp at norg and go kamikaze, its a long way back without a map
