Ninjutsu Fizzle :(

Erm ok, question... My ninjutsu is level 9, and I am level 15... I never used any magic before so i dont know how the magic level relates to damage from magic or what not... But my Raiton: Ichi (lightning damage).... does like 5 damage to clippers who are weak to lightning... is my ninjutsu level too low? or... is ninjutsu just this weak?...

Yes, it's this weak. The damage will cap at 14 dmg if it makes you feel any better . The Ni upgrade does alot more, but still not good enough to warrant casting all the time.

Because you're debuffing for Skillchains and BLM/RDM/DRK spells and they will love you for it. The first level ones are strictly for debuffing, but the second ones can burst for 80-90 or so as well as debuffing even more.

I mostly used Tsurara (Hyoton) for leveling up Ninjutsu for the later spells.

So like one ninjutsu might deal fire damage and reduce resistance to water damage. Is the debuff strong enough so that the next water attack does significantly more damage?

I think... but... not to be named >_>... a ninja taru friend said, that if they're not weak to the debuffed magic initially that, the elemental property of the debuffed magic wont have much of an effect.... true? yes no mayb?

At level 59, I can pull off around 30 damage with ninjutsu 1. XD hahahaha.

Don't worry, ninjutsu 2 spells are waaaaaaaaaay more powerful.

Ya know...

Im havin issues with these elemental ninjutsu too. My ninjutsu lvl is now over 10, and i do close to nothing for damage.

However, i keep using them in order to lvl up my ninjutsu skill, for later spells i hope to get, like poison, blind, paralyze, slow, and ultimately blink.

I making blink my first priority ninjutsu, but it seems so impossible to get it in my current situation. I'm hardly making any gil right now to become rich, and the quest seems so annoying, on the part where you have to build up your tenshodo fame.

I seen a blink scroll go away at an AH in bastok, on seraph server, for about 20K. I could f*ckin believe it!!! I usually see them go away in the AH for about 100K at least.

I simply must have a blink scroll, w/o it, i feel so useless as a ninja, and i simply will not give up the job, i'll have that blink scroll one way or another.
