And where's the exact quote saying that players won't fight eachother? Who says we'll be "killing" eachother, they could be doing a knock out system. None-the-less, until I hear it from Square, I'll keep my mind open.

hehe tsk tsk....as shinoro stated nin blink absorbs ALL magic with the exception of -ga spells. A smart BLM will have Diaga macroed and be ready to use it asap lol. As far as the MNK deal...MNK or any enemy that can also hit twice in one turn is a NIN greatest enemy. On a happier note MNKs dont have aces to debuffing spells like dark and slow ^^. As far as the blink lvl3 i believe Square enix has not implemented it yet, I know a few HIGH lvl nin that wish it was in the game...hell....i do. For sake of balance blink3 may never see the light of day (unless it has a 2min recast time lol). Blink3 will make a NIN invincible if he knows how to use it right ^^.Smithing 68
Weaving 60
Leather 30
Woodworking 73
Alchemy 50
Amazing what one will do to level Blacksmith in this game -.-

well against mages u should be a nin/thf. cause of bind and gravity resists. also u should be the hightest damage weapon in one hand and a silence weapon in the other.
against melee cast utsu 1 and 2. then cast hojo to make thier delay time a living hell and if all else fails suicide attack.

If they don't release Blink3, I'm going WAR/NINSil (Ramuh) - 37NIN/31WAR/30THF/15MNK
Sil (Asura) - 48NIN/40WAR/15THF/10MNK

A WAR with Blink1 and Blink2.
There you go again, rashing out yet another person's comments. It's ok though, I'm like the 50th person you've done this to, so I know how they feel now. I think you need to chill, my comments don't insult anyone, yet you come at me with all these attacks such as I'm "lame." GG get a life and get off my back.Sil (Ramuh) - 37NIN/31WAR/30THF/15MNK

A war subbing ninja will only get blink 1. Blink 1 will last for about 3-4 hits and by the time you try to cast it again (with war at least) it'll cancel because you won't have enough time to cast it before the next hit of the opponent. This basically nulls the effectiveness of blink. (the current level cap -75- only allows for a level 37 support job, correct me if im wrong, but blink 2 is at 38?)
Therefore, war/mnk is basically the common option seeing as it maxes out basically the essence of being a warrior. Higher HP, better defense, better attacks, and more skills to use.

Utsusemi: Ni is lvl 37, so it can be gotten at lvl 74. You need a 74 to have any other job but a NIN use Utsusemi: Ni, and even then, a NIN will still be able to cast it through attacks more efficiently thanks to capped Ninjutsu. WAR will have much more HP and DEF to take the hits though in the meantime. Utsusemi: San is slated to be lvl 62, however, and if anyone ever finds it or if it even is (goes live), you can pretty much forget about anyone ever out tanking a NIN. I think this is why it hasn't been found/released.
And yeah as far as effectiveness goes, I gotta agree that WAR/MNK works better. Sure WAR/NIN will tank better but he won't get the Dual Wield benefits of lvl 65 DW, nor will he have the DD/Debuffs of the Ni line that help mages. Your STR and ATK won't be as high as a WAR/MNK, nor will your HP or damage. Its a diff playstyle and sure it works, just saying you lose more than you gain.
Thats just MY opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own.
