Pre-ninja days..what to do

I plan on being a Taru ninja.

that being said...i am not sure what i want to sub...and im not sure what to level up getting to the ninja.

right now i have thief in my main...but thief's don't seem to be very effective...compared to other jobs i have tried i leveled up t he slowest with thief...and i did get a "gil finder" skill and a "steal" skill so far.

"gil finder" im not sure what it does...does it just increase gil like a goblin drops..or does it increase all spoils.

steal doesn't seem all that impressive...5min intervals..then most of the times i dont get anything and if i do nothing worth much.

hehe ok enough ranting...

what im trying to find out is out of the starting jobs..which should i focus on to become a ninja...warrior,monk,thief?

warrior if you want to be a tanking ninja but i would go monk more hp and counter and other good skills

i dunno if i could "tank" being a taru...i would probably have to focus more on agility...and dodging rather then taking attacks head on.

not sure which would help me best in that.

sure a taru can "tank" as a ninja....a tanking ninja just means your using blink your not realy "tanking" damage your just nulling it
