  • Ninja == What?

    I've been reading extensively about ninja for a few weeks now... and have hard a little trouble distingishing the roll of a ninja in a PT... I've heard many ideas or guesses... but very little in the way of Ninja == this at pre-60 Ninja == 60+... Of the guesses I've heard Ninja == backup emergency tank (expensive tank)... Ninja== puller... Ninja== (expensive) damage dealer.... Basically I'm curious as to what I should expect when PT's say hey there's a Ninja free... let's grab him for __________? Also one last question about Duel Wield... It's been stated that the delay improves as you raise in lvl... Now is that Ninja lvl or character lvl... for example if I was to be thief /ninja would Duel wield also improve or only to the lvl of 35 or the full 70..?

      basically from 40 and beyond, there is hardly a thing that can stand up to a ninja/warrior (with a full sub job mind you). it's just really awesome as a tank. also, ninja does get expensive, yes. um.... /random speaking since tired..... um................. duel wield increases to the level of the ninja. so 70thf/35nin will have the duel wield of 35 nin. blah blah. tired, g'night. XD

        Vivid,

        Ok, so you're saying that to get the most from your ninja you'd have to sub as a warrior.

        Quick question...

        Does playing a ninja/thief actually get you that much better funding for your jutsus and does ninja/thief have a greater damage output than the ninja/warrior?

        I'm thinking about PvP when it's implemented. Ninja/thief vs Ninja/warrior. With blink powder does hp even come into it? I'd have thought it'd be the one with the most damage output wins.

        Damn I'm a n00b answer these questions and put me out of my mysery Vivid sensei.

            Hmm so could a ninja/war be a good tank? since they evade well? and if it gets to risky could use blink..i dont really see why. It would be a good thing if they could so then paladin wouldnt be the only tank

              Quick clearification.... is the improvement to Duel Wield delay based on character lvl or your lvl of Ninja? Also I noticed that Ninja AF has a Duel Wield Delay reducer... is that why Duel wield gets faster or is it just as you lvl the delay improves?

                Speed of dual wield is based on ninja skill, that's why people who sub in ninja don't get the max benefit of dual wield thus leading to a bad review of the trait.

                Where can I find af armour stats for ninja?

                Edit: Yes, it's based on Ninja level from what I've read on this board.

                    Ninja/Warrior is an exceptional tank due to the evasive abilities the Ninja job provides and the extra boost in hp the warrior sub gives you. Not to mention the ninja's greatest strength, blink and the warriors greatest ability, taunt.

                    It is wise not to spread too much wisdom else we'd find loads of Ninjas running about.
