Race for Ninja/Thief

Just wondering what the best race was for a Ninja as main class and thief secondary (for hte insane dmg and the stealing to help pay for the hellish costs of a ninja). It would seem mithra which is disapointing as im a guy hehe. Any insight on this would be helpful. Also when i read about the thf/nin combo, what is recommended, ninja main or thief main? What i mean to say is, is a ninja main worthwhile?

If you want to be ninja, you would end up as a tank. And as a tank, provoke is required. Only warrior has provoke, so you need to sub warrior for your ninja.

ninja/thief won't do insane damage due to the toned down of thief's ability as a sub.

It is better as thief/ninja than ninja/thief.

The best race(perfect) for ninja though, is Mithra. You can try either Hume or Tarutaru for ninja though, if you don't like Mithra.

What's up with the emphasis on Galkans for NIN? Is it due to high HP/VIT? ...and is that why like nobody mentions Mithra as a good choice, despite having good DEX/AGI?

...I guess I'm wondering if a Mithra NIN/WAR would be seen as crippled/not optimal/avoided for groups. I like the character concept, but I don't want to have a hard time grouping.
