Thrown weapon damage

A call to high level Ninja's out there. Does anyone use thrown weapons? Is the damage comparible to ranger weapon damage?

Even though im not a high level ninja i can still say that ive read almost every post in this ranger/thief forum and have played beta for the whole time its been out. Its coming to an end soon in like 7 days. But anyways no it cannot be compared with a rangers attack. His attributes are primarily meant for archery/guns. While a ninja's not necessarily meant to be throwing all the time. Im not sure what the ratio of damage is but i believe ninjas shurican/throwing weapons are minisule compared to rangers ranged attacks.
