I think you would have to have a ranger sub job though and are the only guns in the game two handed rifles, no handguns, if so then it wouldnt be possible, so, can they hold two guns?

There are guns which a ninja can equip, sub jobs won't give you more items to equip. There's only 1 equipment slot for a chararcter to equip guns, so no, you can't wield 2 guns, also dual wield only works on 1 handed melee weapons.
btw, I've seen screen shots of characters holding a gun up in 1 hand, don't know what that mean.....:p -
Yes, duel only works with 1 hand melee weapons. And for Rangers they equip their range weapons in the range slot not in the weapon slot....I think..lolhttp://www.livejournal.com/users/zandria_/
