Taru Ninja/Thief

i was just wondering if this combo would be wgood. i know theif complements ninja very well because of the added evasion, dex, and gil but i'm still deciding on what i want to be. the choices are between a taru nin/thfor a taru rng/thf. if you can contirbute anything it would be great. thanks in advance

I'd say Taru Nin/thf because both are close range, and a ranger is long range which dosent mix well with a theif.

If you want to be a RNG, it's a good job for a Taru cuz they don't get hit much and Taru's have good AGI. However, you will want to sub WAR not THF the only thing THF will give you is money that's about it. Where as WARRIOR STR bonus + Sidewinder +Berserk = one bad mother

As for NIN/THF also, a good job, but you'll mostly be a puller/support not so much a heavy fighter like a RNG. NIN/THF and NIN/WAR would both be good. With NIN/WAR you'd be more help to Renkei. Both are good though, just lv them both since you can't have RNG or NIN til lv 30 lv WAR and THF up you'll need WAR for DMG and since RNG and NIN are the most expensive jobs you'll want THF.

I dont recommend thief as a subjob for Ranger, I would advise Ninja for the AGI, dual wield and DEX.

Ninja's subjob I recommend Warrior if you want to be good at what you're doing, and thats using blink, then taunting to take the going to be missed hits.

Taru DEX/AGI isn't bad at all, so you won't suck.

But viv, to be honest, thief is a crappy sub :/ what are you gonna do? sneak attack? It was nerfed as a sub, so whats the point?

I'd rather save my mages from using their MP alot by repeatedly casting blink :D I lubs it.

Right now I'm levelling thief (level 32 so far), so when I get richer I'll get the rest of the 10 levels I need for nin.
