  • Monk abilities

    I started a new monk and since they dont get spells the do get abilites (DUH) and i cant read japanese very well as many importers but i was wondering what abilities do they get when and how do u use them?

    Hundred Fists
    Learn on Lv. 1
    Interval: 2:00:00
    Duration: 0:01:00
    what it do:Attacking interval will be shortened

    Accumulate
    Learn on lv. 5
    Interval: 0:00:15
    Duration: 0:03:00
    what it do:Attack is stronger, only for one hit

    Evasion
    Learn on lv. 15
    Interval: 0:05:00
    Duration: 0:02:00
    what it do : Evasion up

        for me, accumulate is called boost. Whats up with that?

            Yes, he has the beta. It's called Boost in English.

                    I think Boost sounds better than Accumulate. It also describes the Ability better.

                        Boost is a very good skill to have. Its not very effective if u use it just once but if you stack it up a bunch you can add about 20-30 dmg and when you use it with combo you can deal out extreme dmg, and even better still is if you have theif as you sub-job and use sneak attack combined with boost wich does even more dmg still, theres lots of different combinations to play around with.

                            Yes, boost does stack. If u look at you atk and def in the equip screen after each boost, you'll see that it goes up after each time you use it.

                              Yeah, I was surprised to see Boost was cumulative, but once I found out how to use it, my first hit always adds an extra 10-20 damage.
