What's the best subjob for a MNK? I want to be a mnk till atleast level 30, so I can have plenty of time to dicide what kind of job(s) I really want to take up. Well that's all, I hope that it is simple enough lol.

Orthodox:
/WAR := Exp party use; good to at least Lv.60+. Some parties may request /NIN, though.
/NIN := Used a lot in Lv.60+ parties. Good to have, when partying with bad tanks.
/WHM := Good for soloing, and useful when running for quests in dangerous zones. Generally NOT for exp parties.
Low level:
/PUP := Good until MNK10 or so. Don't worry if you don't have it.
/RNG := For MNK Lv.20-29; it looks stupid, but works nicely thanks to Accuracy Bonus. Probably. Never seen anyone brave enough to try it.
/DRG := For MNK Lv.20-29. This one I've seen. It's a good idea, for Attack Bonus and Jump. (Lv.30 plus, it may be usable with a Haste build, but that's rather exotic.)
/DRK := For MNK Lv.20-29. Again, for Attack Bonus, but without Jump. /DRG is better. >_>
Odd Balls:
/THF, /SAM, /BLU. I wouldn't worry about these; they make sense in certain situations, but probably not all that much in demand. Real MNKs can tell you more (or just laugh at me for even mentioning them).Bamboo shadows sweep the stars,

Let me first start of by introducing you to the FFXI Wiki. Learn to use it. A lot.
A MNK will most often sub WAR for experience points parties. That doesn't mean /WAR is the end all be all subjob for MNK, but most of the time it will be the best choice.
Alternatively, while leveling WAR, you'll find that MNK is the best subjob for the lower levels. By lower levels I mean there's no reason to sub much of anything else before level 20-30. In fact, even well into the 40's, /MNK is still a good subjob for Warrior.
PLD75 DRK60 lots of other levels.

Well I wanted to start off being a Mage, but then I thought to myself. Maybe, I should be a tank or a DD first, so I can get a feel for the game better that way. (that and it would be easier to level, sense I would be confused with a Mage job at the beginning lol.) But, in all seriousness, I would like to be some kind of Mage in the near future. Just being a MNK right now is just for a little while, I don't want to take it all the way to 75.
