I was just wondering what else it good to merit up after maxing out hand 2 hand? I was thinking like double attack? or like kick attacks im not really sure. Please reply.
You can't merit double attack as MNK. So...kick attack. I'd also highly suggest crit hit rate if you haven't already. (Actually, crit hit rate has a larger impact on damage than hand to hand skill, unless you're at some borderline on accuracy between eating meat vs sushi.)
Counter is also pretty good to merit too.

Yay for broken connection preventing me from exping/meriting!
most monk i know max their kick for the extra TP gain.
I'm gonna max counter first ( ̄― ̄)

I raised Counter and Kick attacks 2 levels each. I raised H2H about 3 times, I've maxed Critical Hit rates, and I've reduce Enmity by 3.
Personally, I'd go for a Critical hit rate increase, but as you will do more damage, you'll want to counter that with enmity reduction, as your merit parties (unless you're a full-time KRT), may not be too happy if you steal hate too often. I'll probably max H2H next, then max enmity reduction, and then after that I'll work on kick attacks and counter, and then Attributes, and finally HP increases.
Crits, crits, and more crits. Then kicks and counter in whichever order you want. If you were starting from scratch, I'd personally reccommend: h2h1 > crit1 > h2h2 > crit2 > h2h3 as your first 5 upgrades. Especially if you have multiple jobs you want to level, crits is great for all melee. Kicks and Counter are about equally good imo.
a bit OT, for asuran fist what is a good gorget to use? There's dark/earth as it's first attribute and fire as its second. Any of these 3 will be fine?
