I had read you could workaround these NMs, so I tried.
I used my 62RDM/BLM. I scouted out the Hide Flap on the tent and a safe zone where I could Raise myself. Do that ahead of time.
I used Stoneskin, Phalanx, Blink, Protect III, Shell III, Invisible, Deodorize, and Reraise II (from gorget) to buff up. I got close to the Hide Flap and used Powder Boots (Enchantment: Flee) to drop Invisible. I then targeted the tent and selected "Yes" that I wanted to enter the tent. This spawned the 2 NM orcs. I sprinted to my safe zone, hoping I could lose them with Flee. When they were out of sight, I recast Invisible and Deodorize. None of it helped, they caught up to me eventually. I tanked for a really long time, considering, but I finally let myself die.
The plan was to let them start to walk away, Raise myself, follow them until they despawned, and then activate the Hide Flap again. Unfortunately, as the NMs wandered through Poisonhand's spawn area, some people Provoked them. I thought this would slow things down, but I Invisible'ed myself and tried hitting the Hide Flap while the NMs were alive and fighting. This was enough to get the key items, and I got my AF2 after heading back to Bastok.
Other options would be to use a lowbie PLD or THF to Invincible or Perfect Dodge to get to safe zone. Unfortunately, at least one of the NMs is a mage-type orc and could kill you with a Banish or nuke. Really, any main/sub with a combination of Utsusemi/Blink/Stoneskin/Aerial Armor/Invincible/Perfect Dodge/Flee can do it with ease.
Call it cheating if you want. I call it not wasting my LS's time on something I could do myself at a cost of 525 xp, after Reraise II. It would have been even less if I had used a lowbie THF or PLD and Reraise I from hairpin.
