new to mnk-ism

im a rdm58/blm29...not exactly "new" my mnk is 21. im stareing dowm the line for mnk and im a lil scared...for my wallet that is.

when i play a job i perfer to have the best armor possible for that job or i just dont feel like im playing it right. the exception are some HQ things...not gonna pay 5x the price just for a 1-3 point difference

this is my question. mnk is a very powerful and intresting job to me. will i need to purchase a scorp harness...O Kote, to make my mnk very nice? is AF good or worthwhile? the scorp harness and O kote will break my bank for a while ; ; and jujitsu gi is a must that will hurt too ; ; i understand that i will be farming constantly to get the gear i want and im not doing so until rdm is at 75 so i have some time. thank you ^^

O kote = Highly recommended. Your RDM can farm it. You'll be using it into the 70s and beyond.

Scorpion Harness = Not worth the price compared to your free AF in most cases. You can buy lots of gear in other slots for the same price. But if you can swing it go for it, it's one of the best chest pieces for monk period.

Jujitsu Gi = Really nice till AF, I would try to farm it if possible.

What he said. Though our AF isn't too shabby. I see tons of monks (especially first-jobers) wearing it for a long time.

I'd also recomend the Kote though. I just gave mine back from a load and, well, I miss it.
