best monk sub job?

what is a best monk sub job i wona get my whole thing all figureed befor i start up... iv been reading and it seems to me WAR is a good sub job for MNK, if im reading right war gives defense bonus, and it gives the MNK decent tanking skills... is this right or do you all reccomend a diferent sub job for MNK. im thinking i wona go all out damage, cauz in previous games i solo ALOT! is all out damage better for solo, if so i dont think war would be good sub job... i dont know, if all out damage is good solo? what do you all think is best?
