Weapon Skills Question

Okay Monk have some of the best ws around but Im pre-rageing fists and I was wondering was WS is best to use before I get that. I have been useing Combo obviosly but also trying backhand blow. Backhand does some great damage but its not very consistant. When I use combo though I always get around the same damage as I usually do. Just wondering what other monks used and what you found to be a better WS until you got raging fists.

I used backhand blow a lot. But usually it's just best to do whatever will work with a skillchain, since the damage isn't that different.

The big 5 for Monk are:
Combo
Raging Fists
Howling Fist
Dragon Kick
Asuran Fists.

You will literally be using those the most often. Unless asked to make a specific SC, you won't really need to use Backhand Blow, One Inch Punch, or Shoulder Tackle. Spinning Attack is AoE so you will rarely if ever use it in a PT.

Backhand Blow has the potential to do good damage, but the fact it only does with a critical hit makes it less than desirable.

It seemed to average about the same as combo for me. But that could be because of my race and merits. Mithra and capped crit %. >_>a

thanks for the input just cant seem to find which was better but ill use combo unless asked otherwise
