MNK Gear Progression

Hey guys, I'm new to the game and started as a Tarutaru MNK. I was just wondering what my gear progression should be 1 - 20. Currently am level 7 with this equip:

Bronze Knuckles
Robe
Bronze Cap
Cuffs
Slops
Ash Clogs
Windurstian Ring

Where should I go from here?

I would suggest searching Mysterytour, they have equipment lists by slot and each list is sorted by level. At low levels as a taru, STR will probably be your first priority, I think the main things will be white belt (you should be able to get this immediately), power gi, and +str rings (courage or whatever the NQ is). Attack is also very nice. Defense and VIT are important solo, but once you start partying more, they will be less important as someone else should be taking most of the hits.

Do the purple belt quest as soon as you can - while you can just buy the belt, you need the quest in order to get the next quest for the very expensive brown belt, and eventually the rare/ex black belt. You may need to get into the 20s or even 30s to defeat the NM rams, though, and it will probably take a lot of time wandering around looking for them.

If you need money for gear, there are various ways to get it including selling items and crystals at the Auction House and doing low level quests. Low level characters can make surprisingly good money just killing low level monsters and selling their drops to higher level characters (who don't want to waste their time killing low level monsters). Some monsters are more valuable than others for this - bees, crawlers and saplings all have some good stuff, for example.
