Everyone knows that the damage system is. Evade > Parry > Utsu > Shield > Hit.
But what about monk? Does counter or evade come first? Is it Counter > Evade > Parry/Guard > Hit, or Evade > Counter > Parry/Guard > Hit. Parry/Guard is cause MNK using non h2h weapon would parry while using h2h would guard, so in the sense they are in same category for MNK.. So does anyone know anything about this?
And how does the counter + stuff works? AF2 boots has Enhance Counterstance, Crosscounters, Avenger's Earrings, Aikido Koshita would give +9 counter, how much does it help? How many + does Counterstance add to counter? Is Enhance Counterstance as shitty as Enhance Berserk, ie, reduce less defence?
What is the relationship between guarding skills and counter? I've heard that higher guarding skills would increase chance of counter, so how is the relationship exactly like? Or is it just an urban myth? Hopefully some uber MNK can help me with this.
