Elemental Damage

This is more than likely a dumb question, but I'm new and not afraid to ask. If I were to buy a pair of knuckles with elemental damage (ex: Burning Cestis with fire damage), would the elemental effect actually heal certain monsters?

No, it won't. But the elemental damage is usually very weak as far as I know...

When they go off, it's normally pretty low damage wise, like 1-5 points. Doesn't seem to go off nearly enough either.

some enemies might be resistant to it, but no enemies absorb an element so that it heals them (as far as i know)

and yeah, Burning Cesti's additional effect goes off only once in a while, about as often as a critical hit. other weapons' additional effects can go off at different rates though.

At the level your at, it wopuld matter that much

Usually the fire damage will atcivate and you'll think someone casted fire

if usually fires off on fires day, and you might as well get them since there about the same as the other cestis at that level
