Gear check if you don't mind

I was just wondering if yall could take a look at my gear and tell me of anything I could swap to make it better for where I am at right now. It took me a really long time to farm and save up for all of this and I'm fairly sure this is THE BEST gear for my level. Thanks

although with that peacock charm, you don't need both of those sniper rings.
you should get 2 puissance rings (STR+3), sell one of those sniper+1s for them. or if you have the gil, have 3 sets of rings:
sniper+1/sniper+1,
sniper+1/puissance,
puissance/puissance.
and switch them out according to how easily you hit the mob.

and try to get T.M. Hooks +2 for 4 levels from now, or crosscounters for 2 levels from now, but you might not want to do anymore farming

That's pretty damn good, but I wouldn't use Emperor's Hairpin as a Monk. I don't see the need for it. :p

Also, I agree with Iglak about the rings. Perhaps use puissance? You probably have more than enough accuracy. ^^

I was under the same impression for the emp pin as well, but I used it yesterday in a xp party, and I criticalled with /thf about 5-8 times a fight if not more.

It can be switched out for better, but it seemed to add a good amount of dmg for me. The nin couldn't keep hate off me ^^, always fun to see.

Have you tried it with a /WAR sub? Just curious. Since DEX is a multiplier for SA and AGI for TA, I can see how a hairpin would be good for a /THF sub. I don't think it would help much with a /WAR sub though.

Any other MNKs try using it with a /WAR sub?

You cant multiply SA/TA damage when THF is a sub. SA will do a regular crit, TA does nothing but transfer hate, no added damage.

Wow, if you really farmed up that much for that gear it's really impressive. The charm and both rings = 8.5 million on my server. Not sure i'd have that much patience.

Everything looks good to me, Get the Hooks or Cross-Counters in 2 levels, and then just worry about your AF the rest of the way. Im a huge fan of the accuracy, but like someone suggested, maybe you should keep a couple str rings on you if you don't miss much.

Thank you for all of the suggestions I will just have to go and pick up a couple of them STR rings +1 and do some switching to see how I like them. The reason I am using the Emp Pin is because I really don't see any other headgear as of now that can match it, because I take so much agro from the mobs I beat on the evasion helps. And yes I probly have about 500+ hours of farming done doing NM's and buying/selling. It's all worth it to almost always have an invite when I log on because of the shape I keep my toon in.

You'll have alot more time to farm from 50-60, no matter how good your equipment is. So, its good that you enjoy it so much.
